6. 64-piece set: 4 threaded taps (M13x1.5/M15x1.5/M17x1.5/M20x1.5); 20 oil pan screws (5 M13x1.5, 5 M15x1.5, 5 One M17x1.5, 5 M20x1.5); 40 oil pan screw gaskets (10 M13, 10 M15, 10 M17, 10 M20)
7. 114-piece set: 6 threaded taps (M13x1.25/M13x1.5/M15x1.5/M17x1.5/M20x1.5/M22x1.5/); 36 oil pan screws (6 M13x1. 25, 6 M13x1.5, 6 M15x1.5, 6 M17x1.5, 6 M20x1.5, 6 M22x1.5); 72 oil pan screw gaskets (24 M13, 12 M15, 12 M17, 12 M20, 12 M22)
How to use:
1. Determine the original thread size of the old oil pan plug by measuring the diameter of the old oil pan plug
2. Select the next size oil pan plug. Example: Use a 13mm screw plug with a 12mm original plug diameter. Try to use the same pitch and compare the pitch of the old plug with the appropriate thread. For example: the original thread 1.25 uses a thread with a plug head of 13mm x 1.25
3. Fill the threads of the plug head with clean shaft/bearing grease
4. Use a suitable drive head to screw the thread into the oil pan
5. Once you start to reshape the screw hole, continue to rotate clockwise and slowly cut the thread through the kinematic rotation and back (counterclockwise) rotation by 1/4, which will help provide a good complete thread
6. After finishing the cutting, remove the tap and clean
7. Pour engine oil into the engine and plug out the oil pan to wash away any metal debris that may fall into the engine
8. Install a suitable new oil pan plug and copper sealing gasket and apply torque to the vehicle
